[storage::hp::3par::ssh::plugin] Component filtering question

Hello

Please tell me how I can correctly filter some of the components I need in the "components" mode.

For example, I want to make two separate monitoring services.

  1. HPE 3PAR Power

In this service, I want to combine 3 types of components:

  • by component mask *.battery.charge.percentage
  • by component mask *.sensor.power.watt
  • by component mask *.sensor.voltage.volt
  1. HPE 3PAR Temperature

This service must contain only one type of component by mask *.sensor.temperature.celsius

Could you show me the plugin output and which component directly you want to filter ?

The output of the plugin is very massive. Power and temperature metrics are mixed in one place. I want to divide these metrics into two groups, as I wrote in the first post. This will allow me to make separate convenient graphs in the monitoring system.

To do this, in the first case, I need to filter all components by masks: *.battery.charge.percentage + *.sensor.power.watt + *.sensor.voltage.volt

In the second case, I need to filter all temperature-related components by the mask *.sensor.temperature.celsius

I tried different options, but I realized that the plugin is now able to filter only top-level components (for example, battery or sensor). I need filtering at the subcomponent level (for example, battery.charge or sensor.voltage)

I have added the option: --add-name-instance. Now you can filter on the sensor name: --add-name-instance --filter='sensor,SBB Canister'
