optional DB user in influxdb config

Can you make the parameter 'DB user' optional in the influxdb config pane like Graphite pane ?

Hi,

I know this is not the solution you wait for but maybe it could help you. A quick solution would be you to use the streamconnector instead of the influxdb connector. There is an already done script to send data to influxdb here. It is relatively easy to modify it following what you want to do. Regards.
