parameter setting for MicMac

I have installed micmac and it works on some images. But for some other images, for a patch of size 800*800, it takes hours and doesn't get a output, the process seems to be stuck. But if I use mgm, I can get a correct result. In this situation, can I get a result with micmac by modifying the xml file?
