I'm having the same issue, with a Switch Pro controller. It only happens when using the SDL API. It does not happen with my Xbox Series X controller, (regardless of API), I have eliminated Steam as an issue (I closed right out of it while testing). I would call this issue fairly important as I cannot complete the Myahm Agana shrine without it (I need a gyro and cemu-no-gyro is terrible) :(

I also have this issue on the latest version. I believe it was around 1.8 that this still worked. Would appreciate this being looked into!

OK, just did some more digging. It broke between 2.0-59 and 2.0-60. I suspect it's this commit: https://github.com/cemu-project/Cemu/commit/18490830738c61b1b35fa11a9207bcf3fc4edd3e

Gonna try removing this system in a custom fork and see if it fixes the Wii U Pro Controller compatibility.

Yes, it simply seems that setting ENABLE_HIDAPI to OFF on line 94 of CMakeLists.txt fixes this issue. https://github.com/cemu-project/Cemu/commit/18490830738c61b1b35fa11a9207bcf3fc4edd3e#diff-1e7de1ae2d059d21e1dd75d5812d5a34b0222cef273b7c3a2af62eb747f9d20aR94
