Wildcard domain block not work

Hello, I tried to block wildcard domain/subdomains for opera.com and ofa-sub.osp.opera.software, I tried : -

*.opera.com ( not blocked ) *.opera.software ( not blocked )

Pleae try yourself and try to block domains based in wildcards for example :

api-a.op-mobile.opera.com

thumbnails2.opera.com

ofa-sub.osp.opera.software

operanews-sub.osp.opera.software

My phone pixel 6a, android 14, rethink 0.5.5n

A clarification: do you happen to have any conflicting rules? For example, trusting (allowing) opera.com but blocking (disallowing) *.opera.com or blocking (disallowing) *.opera.com globally (via Universal firewall rules) but trusting (allowing) it for select few apps?

Whatever the bug was, doesn't exist in v055o, the upcoming as of yet unreleased version (which is what I'm using). This issue stands fixed in v055o. OP: Thanks for the bug report. Appreciate it.

I think the issue not for this specific domain but the wildcards rules only, I tried to check connecting https://trc.taboola.com/ and it connect without issue however there already universal wildcard domain rule with *.taboola.com and not worked.

... Was directed at me.

I have no allowances for any alternate routing. I have tried to configure a full blockade. I only authorise an app to bypass the firewall on use and rescind the allowance manually afterwards. I rarely allow multiple apps simultaneous access, only sometimes. The only I.P./Port/Domain rule to exist is a block on Mozilla Location Services.
