Audio stutter when switching full-screen mode
Overview Description: It seems that if I toggle the full-screen mode either by clicking the full-screen button or pressing f, audio stutters. At first, I wondered if this is because of CPU usage or something, but the system monitor did not show a CPU hike, and it happened with a very low-resolution video file (i.e., should not be resource-intensive), and with loading MPV config disabled. Other video players (mpv, vlc, Gnome videos, etc) did not show the same symptom.
PS: On close inspection, not just the audio but the video playback seems to stutter for a moment right after switching the full-screen mode.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open a video file
- Keep toggling the full-screen mode.
Actual Results: Audio stutters
Expected Results: Audio does not stutter.
Version: 0.24
Additional Information: The thing in the Arch repository.
I can reproduce this with the Flatpak install. Tried various flags to no avail. This seems to be a new issue
Never mind, I can reproduce this even before the 0.24 update
I can confirm this happens on the latest flatpak ver 0.25 as well.
I subscribe, this problem has also been pissing me off for a long time. At first I thought that the problem was in the hardware, but as it turns out, the problem is in the celluloid itself..
Celluloid version 0.25, opensuse tumbleweed distribution, installed from the rep distribution.
