I use Manjaro with xfce. My workaround was to turn of the screen-save function in the setting so that's works for me

Looks like gtk_application_inhibit() doesn't work on XFCE, so we need to do idle inhibition manually through D-Bus.

Like it is mentioned in the XFCE issue, would it be possible to probe for org.freedesktop.PowerManagement.Inhibit first and use it if found?
