What is the car? Vin number? COM port name of elm? ELM type? (usb, BT or wifi)

The VIN was removed from your R-Link 2 after virginizing. Also I need the VIN to check the set of your car options. So the VIN could helped significantly. But if you don't want to publish it then you have two choices. Give me your email or post the VIN here and then remove the message. I'll receive the vin by mail as so I subscribed on all changes in this thread

I may try to help you without VIN at all but then I need to know at least the size of screen.

Also please note then the USB-ELM is much better for recovering your device, because of high latency of BT and WiFi adapters.

• run cmdr_radnav_high_repair.py
• take a while
• please share elm_rlink_repair.txt from log folder.

@shahram241 If this script help. Then you need to check the value of Diagnosis/Identification/TRACEABILITY. This value influence on *.wls files and then on map updates. If it was removed then you will probably have problems with map updates and I do not know how to repair it.

@pakoto This script have very simple structure. Main logic in cmdr_* file. Change only it. Two others are the part of pyren and are used by cmdr_* as a library. Actually the ddt4all also contains similar library elm.py but a bit outdated.

0x0740 ecu It is ABS. My script uses "functional" address 01 for ABS ECU. You may find it in dnat array in the code.

One additional moment. Sometimes ECUs use CAN 250 instead of CAN 500 . In this case you need to change 'brp':'0' to 'brp':'01 '

• go to dd4all folder by "cd" commands
• run script as
