How regenerate a lost cache file (xmf) with an enabled backend
If for some reasons the cached file is lost, it is possible to easily recreate it using the model file. This could be easily done with install command if you are not using a backend.
If you are, when calling install, the backend will not return the already in-use devices, so it will fail.
update could not be used either as it requires a XMF file.
A first easy improvement could be to change the error message "No matching device found" to "No available or matching device found".
