Colormap list

The list of available color maps is rather rich and then difficult to use:

• No way to figure out what is the rendering of a specific map
• No way to remember the name of a former map that was so cute

Mys suggest is to either

• add small icons to the labels of the drop-down menu
• Apply the map to the view when the mouse passes over those labels
• both
