Does it work in the native app? The server denied it.
So to confirm you can force update in the native app?
Canada isn't using refresh tokens at this point. Still username password for Canada.
What does the native app show?
Could you enable debug logs and check if the server response reflects that?
Looks like cloudscraper 3.X was released last week. It may help. It however isn't on pypi so can't be used just yet.
Waiting for that new version to get released and trying it out. Open to others to try other solutions. As for why - hard to know if intentional or not.

If working like the native app not much can be done.
If native app does this maybe open a ticket with Hyundai/Kia?
