Just a preview of how it could look like. Featured contributors should be selected by the community. I guess the easiest way would be a quick monthly poll.

Hi all,

The time to vote is now over for the CDK.dev Featured Contributor section and the turnout was really bad. Only 15 people out of 950 in the Slack channel voted and two of those votes were ME and Test.

I would propose that we will not add the CDK Featured Contributor section and try this poll again when the community is a bit more mature.

Do you agree with this or would you still add the section and poll again in let's say next quarter?

I agree, we shouldn't push this out yet.

Would it make sense to get this submission form more prominently displayed until we do get good engagement?

Ahh, too bad - but a good learning. Perhaps we could twist the direction of this a bit? It could just be a hand picked feature of a person? Not necessarily tied to contributions, but more along the lines of "what brought you to cdk, what are you working on right now, what do you like, what would you change".
