It seems unlikely that this is a conflict, rather the JSON parser in c-lightning-rest seems to be crashing while attempting to parse something. Sadly I'm not very experienced with JS...

Yep, multithreading doesn't really mesh too nicely with sqlalchemy. Been trying to squash this for a while, but it's not easy to get rid of the issue.

Rebased to hopefully make CI happy again.
