It cancels on timeout (5 seconds). Are you sure the IP is correct?

Ping is possible. Firewall is disabled.

Hmm. Try actually entering "valetudo" in the Username-field. It may be that the placeholder is also drawn in black...

As it's HTTP, you could try using wireshark to figure out more
