4chanx image expansion not working for .mp4 files on firefox
I've moved over to Firefox from Chrome after they disabled 4ChanX, and everything mostly works other than image expansion, image hover, and gallery view for .MP4 files.
When mousing over .webm files, it will show the full video and when clicking on it, it will open, and start playing the file in the tab. Then, when in gallery mode, it will autoplay videos as usual.
Yet, when hovering over .mp4 files, nothing happens, when clicking on them, it opens a new tab for the video, and they don't appear in the gallery.
I was messing around with enhanced protection (set to custom > unticked every option), and they briefly worked, but i can't replicate it, and it's still not working.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Just to clarify, are you using the userscript version or the add-on? 4chan X on the Mozilla add-on store is not a verified extension and may contain malicious code.

Try disabling/removing the firefox add on, and just use the userscript. After i removed the add on, it worked perfectly.
Yep, that was it - I thought I already removed the extension it but it was still installed.
For others - you can tell that mp4s aren't supported if you open 4chan-x settings and look at the version number:
mp4s only seem to be supported from 1.14.22 onwards, the extension from the firefox store was a whole version out of date (~1.13).
