Downloading an image with the little button next to filename sometimes saves two copies, one corrupted

Step 1: Save the image with this button, which keeps the original filename. It looks fine when you're saving it, but...

It sometimes saves like this. I can't figure out what makes this happen, sometimes it saves just fine. I can delete these two files, try saving this same file again, and it saves without any issue. This also happens with the "Download Link: Add a download with original filename link to the menu." menu setting.

Same thing for me on video, but there's no "good" copy. Webm's saved this way are broken and dont even have thumbnails
