Did you figure this out? I'm having a similar issue. In my case, VLC is sending a CSeq request and dorsvr is saying it's not allowed. With ffplay I'm getting...

Any update on this? We have some large customers that only use SLES.

+1 to this. This is would very helpful for our customers and prevent them from hitting a cliff later in the installation process.

@Troubadoure Feel free to use my fork, but just to set expectations, I have no intention to maintain that fork at all. I’ve moved to just using native homekit.
