Causes X-Windows stutter every second on RHEL7
Running this applet with Cinnamon v2.8.8 on RHELv7.3 64bit. Causing a very noticeable X-Windows stutter every second or so (presumably on the configured poll interval). Tested with 3d-hardware acceleration using both nouveau and nvidia binary drivers. All applications show distinctive stutter where it appears that X-Windows does not perform draws for a 1/10th of a second on each MCSM polling interval. glxgears, dragging a window, typing in an editor, etc all show distinctive stutter with this applet running.
Removing the applet from the panel does not make the problem go away. You must remove the applet from the panel and then logout of the current xsession -- only then does X-Windows no longer exhibit the stutter. Reproducible: always (for me).
BTW: this is a great app and I have not noticed any problems on my Mint system -- perhaps there is a dependency package that is missing on RHELv7, that is there by default on Mint? Functionality wise, it appears that all graphs work as expected, except for the Disk graph (always flat-lined at zero on the system suffering the stuttering problem).
Also having the exact same problem here on Fedora 25. Everything other than that works fine, but the stutter makes it unusable for me sadly.
