ouch, @SethTisue yes this will bite people. I've already had my share of issues with "sbt launcher script is _not_ [the official launcher script"](https://github.com/sbt/sbt-launcher-package/tree/master/src/universal/bin).

While alexryd/node-shellies-ng/pull/3 seems to fix the underlying cause, adding [a scheduled restart-workaround](https://github.com/alexryd/node-shellies-ng/issues/12#issuecomment-1947984436) can be used as an interim solution. Better than manually restarting stuff at least. 🤷

A better title for this issue should be: **shelly ng devices (in any more) lose homekit connection when device auth is turned on**

What @gurmeherchawla did might have also been what "fixed" (i.e. made it work despite-) the 400 error for me. Mine is also on a child bridge, as per general best...
