The two guides Extending the Sonar Cryptography Plugin to add support for another language or cryptography library and Writing new detection rules for the Sonar Cryptography Plugin may not be completely up to date now.

In particular, they do not contain recent information about how to handle translation using algorithms defined in the cryptography model.
