HEIC photo format not supported

Hello, why is HEIC photo file format not supported? Will it be supported in the future?

+1 Please add support for HEIC, as it's ubiquitous in 2025. FFMPEG currently handles HEIC conversion just fine, as of at least 7.1.1 and much further back.

+1 this is quite essential. not supporting common formats is odd at best
