New versions of wallpaper engine wallpapers crash immediately

Describe the bug
I was running into an issue trying to get a custom wallpaper I made to work, I ended up finding out creating a new project with only an image and loading it will cause the plugin to crash KDE immediately

After the wallpaper engine 2.7 update most of my wallpapers have been crashing.

I'm on CachyOS(Arch) with all most recent updates.

@evertinker has it been happening only since the wallpaper engine update? I didn't notice there was an update for wallpaper engine that I mightve accidentally installed. if it really is the wallpaper engine update, reverting it might work. Will try that myself

I'm also confused on what caused my plasmashell keeps crashing, turns out it's because this plugin. But yea, I tried any scene wallpaper and it immediately crashed

yea I looked it up and there's update 2.7 yesterday. Maybe this issue isn't related at all and we should create new issue?

Well, incase the issue is related to the wallpaper engine update. This plugin should definitely handle invalid wallpapers better instead of crashing the entire ui lol

Yea I agreed, I literally confused as I restarted my system after updating a module on the kernel. Then it hit with a plasmashell crash, I was confused, but soon I found the problem.

The thing with crashing the entire ui is well, the ui (plasmashell) is crash, and new users will 100% panic and don't know who to blame. This is actually bad for them.

Anyway I created one specific for this 2.7 update #534

Yes, this only happened to me after the 2.7 update. All my wallpapers were working fine before that.
