Restarted my computer, even after uninstalling and reinstalling, scene wallpapers do not work

Open Mariocraft95 opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Describe the bug
I restarted my computer. I reenabled my integrated GPU for unrelated reasons, and when I turned my pc back on, I was getting the "Plugin lib not found" error. Fedora also happened to update during this time. I followed the uninstall instructions, reinstalled, restarted KDE Plasma, and for some reason the MPV backend is still entirely missing. I do not know what I did wrong, but I cannot seem to get it back to a working state. I even removed my ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file temporarily to see if that would fix. I know this plugin works, but I cannot seem to get it back to where it was before.

I do not know if this is a bug or not, but I do not know where else to post.

Attached is the journal from this morning.

I had 3 video wallpapers when I logged in after my computer went to the lock screen. They did not start up automatically. I do not have this problem using MPV, but that option is not even available for me like it used to.

I changed my wallpaper to a scene wallpaper to get the error to show. One notable error I saw was "file:///home/ben/.local/share/plasma/wallpapers/com.github.casout.wallpaperEngineKde/contents/ui/inline:1:1: plugin cannot be loaded for module "com.github.catsout.wallpaperEngineKde": Cannot load library /usr/lib64/qt5/qml/com/github/catsout/wallpaperEngineKde/libWallpaperEngineKde.so: (/lib64/libass.so.9: file too short)" I also saw a lot of these: "file:///home/ben/.local/share/plasma/wallpapers/com.github.casout.wallpaperEngineKde/contents/ui/main.qml:43: TypeError: Cannot read property 'configuration' of null" This Morning.txt
