Improving performance
Hi all!,
This is a PR that tries to improve as much as possible the performance on our CI processes.
In case it is needed, please keep it open to add more changes. For now, it just contains changes to improve the performance on build.py and the build CI.

Just pushed up some extra refactoring that i wanted to do, might as well do it here if we're going to be reworking the scripts.
Tested this against main with +default and +black,rimless for completeness, with all accents across all flavours, reported no changes. With all the major work out of the way, we can ship once this is polished up!
