if you connect via wire, it appears and disappears after a second, if you connect via a 2.4g dongle, then nothing happens

Ultimate C I also tried this fork, nothing happens to it, the logs contain spam about connecting the xbox360 controller and disconnecting it
Could you provide the logs please ? Because other threads talking about Ultimate C have a different result where the Ultimate C cannot be discover at all (Which can't be fixed since it's inside horizon OS). However, if on your side you see something happening in the logs i'm interrested to understand a bit more what's happen here and also understand why on your side you can see the controller while some user don't see it -> https://github.com/o0Zz/sys-con/issues/21

Really interresting, Cathery binary seems to see something while o0zz fork see nothing.
Could you use the fork again with this configuration file please: config.zip
You need to extract it in /config/sys-con/
This configuration should "simulate" cathery version by only discovering XBOX controllers an nothing else.
Nice we have something ! I think we can have something working at some point. We will continue the investigation on this ticket -> https://github.com/o0Zz/sys-con/issues/21 - Since I will probably need wireshark capture and don't want to bother Cathery on his github.
i too have this issue it appears and disappears but the wireless version does not show up i thought i was the only one let me know if you want logs from me as well
