fixed typos (punctuation)

I've added some '.' at the end of the definitions. I noticed them when first reading the glossary. There was also an extra space after 'HINT' which I think was not intentional. I'd like to remove some extra '_' in some entries with links, didn't touch them (maybe they are due to the link add script?).
