Opening a page in a different browser while offline only opens /home/$USER/

I was offline for a bit, opened a link in Ephemeral, then wanted to forward it to Epiphany (so that it would still be there after rebooting).

The page didn't load in Ephemeral (no surprise), but when I opened it in Epiphany, I saw the contents of my home folder.

Expected behavior: The currently open URL is passed on to other browser with no change even when I am offline.

It looks like this might be because the URL doesn't persist in the URL entry when it's unfocused in an error state.
