Batch files don't generate

As it says

the command ran fine, but the metadata folder is empty, and of course none of the shortcuts do anything.

No errors, just no functionality

You get log output OK? Can you attach please along with the command run and the WSL distro used?

Have seen weirdness with permissions before but its odd the shortcuts got created OK.

Also please send output from mount command from within your WSL distro.

It's Debian, installed using the app in the Windows Store. This is the normal output, will it do? wsl-windows-toolbar.txt mount.txt
