Vibration/Haptic Feedback
How much current would a small vibration motor draw from the coin cell? I am super interested in an f91w that has a vibrate alarm.
The current draw shouldn't be the problem since the vibration motor would only be active for brief amounts of time. But take a look at this photo: https://github.com/carrotIndustries/pluto/tree/master/photos#perfect-fit There really is no space for any kind of vibration motor.
I wonder if a modified backplate could allow for more room? It kind of defeats the initial purpose of the project though.
perhaps a piezoelectric actuator could provide this? they can be purchased relatively small
Would it be possible to completely remove the LCD and related components and backlight, to place the vibration motor?
The readme mentions you tried the W800 watch when testing for the LCD. The W800 is 5mm thicker than the f91. Do you think it would be possible to fit everything in the W800 (possibly also removing the LCD)?
