"master repository" and "master branch"
We received the report that use "master repository" is confusing when we had "master branch". Was suggested to use "official repository" or "upstream repository" instead of "master repository".

+1 to dropping “master branch”. I'd rather pick something that needs as little interpretation as possible, like “swcarpentry/lesson-example” or “the swcarpentry/lesson-example repository” or “swcarpentry/lesson-example's gh-pages branch”.
