The materials are currently part of a much larger course, linked to above. The learner content is all there, but the Instructor notes and personas are missing.

In principle, the topic of the proposed lesson is the same as another lesson already in the Incubator: https://github.com/carpentries-incubator/git-Rstudio-course
That repository has been dormant for several years by now, but I wonder if you would consider collaborating on that project instead of opening a new repository in this case? Or do you see your lesson as sufficiently different to this one to make a separate project necessary e.g. in terms of target audience or overall objectives?
If you would prefer to contribute to the existing lesson, or maybe "inherit" the repository if it is no longer actively maintained, I would be happy to reach out to the maintainers and discuss options with them.
