Single Cell RNA-sequencing workshop
I know that there is already an existing single cell workshop in the incubator. But we developed on last year and have presented it twice. We have received positive student feedback and made several changes to improve the workshop.
The repo is here: https://github.com/dmgatti/SingleCellRNAseq/tree/gh-pages and the corresponding Github Pages are here: https://dmgatti.github.io/SingleCellRNAseq/ .
Thank you for sharing the lesson here, @dmgatti, and for your patience while I got back on top of my GitHub notifications.
Would you like to transfer this lesson into the Incubator, or are you sharing here in case the materials may be useful to the maintainers of the other scRNA lesson? I encourage community members to collaborate on a single lesson on a given topic where possible, but there is no rule that says we cannot host multiple lessons on the same topic if necessary.
I was thinking of moving it into the incubator. It uses the old lesson template though.
I would work with the other folks, but we developed this and have presented it twice and it works really well. So I think that I’d like to keep it separate form the other one.
Please let me know what you need me to do.
Dan

Sorry for the delayed response, @dmgatti. Use of the old lesson template is no problem.
You should have received an invitation to join a Team of maintainers for the lesson, which I called scRNA-seq-seurat-developers , as part of the carpentries-incubator organization on GitHub. After you have accepted that invitation, you should be able to initiate the transfer into carpentries-incubator, via the repository Settings. When that is done, I will make sure that you retain the appropriate level of access to the repository: you will be given full administrative rights, and the collaborators you listed above will be given "Maintain" privileges.
To keep in touch with The Carpentries curriculum community you may find it useful to join the incubator-developers list on The Carpentries TopicBox and/or the lesson-dev channel on The Carpentries Slack. Joining the Slack channel requires that you first become a member of that workspace.
I will leave this issue open until the transfer has been completed. If you have any questions about the process, or if you run into any trouble, please post back here and I will be happy to help you.
