Cirrus is on Slurm now?
https://cirrus.readthedocs.io/en/master/user-guide/batch.html#interactive-jobs
@aturner-epcc, can you comment? Should we retain the PBS-templated site, purge it, or migrate the snippet library to Slurm?
We need to do some work to move the snippets to Slurm. However, it may be useful to keep the PBS ones in the library as a useful starting point for other sites that might still be using PBS. What do you think?
I appreciate the consideration, but I think that carrying a stale snippet library around is probably not in our best interests. It'll still be there in history if somebody needs it, but it need not be in the working copy. I suggest
git rm -r _includes/snippets_library/EPCC_Cirrus_pbs, but I leave the decision up to you.
Personally, if prefer not to lose the only PBS example we have, if we do remove it we should try to make it as findable as possible. Could we consider and an archive subdirectory for outdated systems? Or maybe someone else has a PBS system that can replace it?
Finding a replacement PBS cluster would be the best solution, for sure!
