Yes. These links should be allowed because simple social sharing links are allowed. It's not great to maintain an allowed-list but I can't think of better options.
Does this also check for "No remote resources are allowed. Include all scripts, images, videos and other resources rather than hot-linking."? I mean if there is an allowed list, then...
Is it the text that is not clear, or is the test wrong? **Was it not a 404?** I can tell that it is not a 404 now.
I think it should be self explanatory that 404 is an error.
The screenshot is from the same demo, 2023.wordpress.net. I hid the featured images because I didn't know their license.

It has been brought up many times by users that this is confusing, so _in that sense_ it is unexpected. But it is not a bug because it is intentional....
