Write up the WHY (was "Hey")

Hey Carlton,

this just showed up in my feed. Just wanted to let you know that I made a reusable lib for this, because I was quiet frustrated with the outdated Django default. It does not yet have login via email, but all the other things you mentioned there are covered. Should be easy to add, if you are interested.

So you've got a custom user there, which is fine but what I'm wanting to avoid here. I will keep this open to use as an example when I write up more about the Why here.

I'd like us to reopen the idea that Django wants you to create a custom user. (Like OK as a possibility, but the box should have a good battery for the common case.) It's long felt to me like we gave up that ground too easily.
