I am less fussed about using MCP as an alternative to edit code instead of the way the plugin currently does but would love it to be an option to inform the chat instead of selecting files to add to context. For example, leverage existing git MCP so that you can ask it a question that can then search your project codebase to inform the answer. Seems like having the option to include existing third party MCP integrations would be a great way to expand functionality without needing to implement it all.

Using Context7 with this through MCP would triple it's usefulness.
