Hi there, thank you so much for doing a windows repository for this!

I've managed to get VIBE to give me a video output and a .pkl file. The issue is when I try to load the .pkl file in blender, onto a smplx model with the smplx model add on, I get the following error:

Prior to this I had a similar issue, but resolved the joblib module is missing error, by following your advice in https://github.com/carlosedubarreto/b3d_mocap_import/issues/17

I would greatly appreciate any advice you have to solve this matter!

As far as i remember, vibe didnt work with smplx, but with smpl models.

And i would suggest you to try other solutions, vibe is good, but i found others that are better, for example easymocap monocular.

There is an addon that I did in blender that can make allbthe process much easier, since you dont have to manually install the python packages.

You can download it for free at https://carlosedubarreto.gumroad.com/l/ceb_em_monocular

Just use the coupon code that is in the description

And there is a tutorial on how to use it here https://youtu.be/xYdTa1AqxCM

Hi there, thank you for the prompt response!

I had a look at the SMPL add on, and there is no option to load pose on smpl models. I only have this option on smplx models.

I was under the belief that easymocap needs mocap input, as opposed to extracting animation from videos, but I'll check it out.

Thank you for the links I will have a look at these!

actually would following your guide on converting .pkl to .fbx solve this issue entirely?

update : converting .pkl to .fbx solved the issue i was having! though you're right, it doesn't work with smplx models, unfortunately. would the program you suggested do this, work with video files instead of mocap?

yes it work directly from video.
