You can pin multiple sites for Media Keys via the tab context menu which will disable the media keys for all other supported sites, unless all the pinned media sites...

Did you turn off the auto-play/pause feature, that's designed for this situation.

Yeah, it's my understanding that the Linux code is media key centric and not too universal unfortunately. Someone else wrote it but I reviewed it at least.

It's an interesting idea and not terribly difficult to do but I'm not a huge fan add-on-add-ons. Some people hate this feature and some people love it so it does...
