Make the portfolio staging environment public

We should make the staging portfolio environment public. In order to do so we should fix up the password auth so that we validate email addresses before users are allowed to login as well as before they change their password. Additionally, so that the demo is compelling, people need a way to create wallets and add assets to their wallets. The following issues are blockers for this:
