Adding this error I got today when running the snapshot since it feels related to this issue image (13)

thank you to @szinta for finding the solution!

i'm going to keep this open a bit longer while we make sure that the checks are running for everyone.

@matthewgallo lets actually open a separate issue regarding the snapshot since it feels like a different thing. i think we need to reconfigure the ci checks because from the looks of it the snapshot test isn't being run automatically anywhere.
