Bringing in upstream changes in carbon-web-components into Carbon for IBM.com is a cumbersome process, where changes need to be published in carbon-web-components first, then published, then pulled into Carbon for IBM.com.

The solution

carbon-web-components package needs to be migrated into the monorepo.

Anyway carbon-web-components will still be published independently on npm, right?
