Help wanted: Codemirror sometimes temporarily shows incorrect editors

In certain conditions, sometimes the editor is displayed incorrectly with this extra padding: image

However, it goes away when editing the code, OR even resizing the window. This must be a codemirror bug.

We need to find a work around.
