Is this project dead? No updates for a year!
There have been no commits for over a year. As financial institutions are always changing, this project cannot stagnate or it will become useless. There are currently 9 PRs pending for over a year, with fixes for Schwab, Discover, and TDBank.
What is the status of this project?
I am not maintaining this project. There are some who have come and offered to take it over.. only to back out when I have said yes.
Feel free to tweak the code for your needs!

ok, thanks for the update! I know there are some efforts to share repo ownership responsibility, like JazzBand -- perhaps you might consider handing this repo over there.
One thing you might try is looking at some of the forks that are out there. I think some people have solved some of the issues you mentioned.
One thing Ill try and do is at least merge in some of the outstanding PRs and push a new release to pypi.

@captin411 I might be interested in taking over as a maintainer. What would be a good forum to chat on it?
I am up for a video call or something if that would be easier to coordinate. I am on UTC-07:00 timezone.
Shoot me a calendar invite for a time that works for you on any platform of your choice - even a phone call is fine by me.
Most days I have flexibility on times to meet, I just need a couple days advance notice and I will clear out meetings.

I don't see any forks of this from JazzBand. Is there a good fork out there?
Thanks in advance for this great software.
@captin411 : Can you clarify what your requirements and expectations for someone to take over as the new maintainer?
It seems like the minimal way approach would be something like:
- Someone offers to take over that seems reasonably credible.
- @captin411 transfers repository to new maintainer as described in https://docs.github.com/en/free-pro-team@latest/github/administering-a-repository/transferring-a-repository
- @captin411 puts up a note on the following sites pointing people to the new github repo URL:
- others?
- @captin411 transfers required pypi credentials so new maintainer can push new releases to pypi.
- New maintainer reviews outstanding PRs and either merges them or provides feedback on what needs to happen to do merge. (This may not happen instantly but the new maintainer would start the process of getting existing PRs merged).
- New maintainer works on reviewing incoming PRs from collaborators but does not necessarily commit to fixing all outstanding issues as that may be more work than the new maintainer can do by himself or herself.
If the above sounds right, I would be interesting in becoming the new maintainer. I have been playing with ofxclient, ledger-autosync, and ledger-cli to organize my finances and find these three tools to be what I like and what I need. I would like to make some tweaks to ofxclient to fit into my flow but not having an official version I can contribute to is a pain point. I am willing to become the new maintainer as discussed above if it helps us get an official version where the community can agree on PRs and get them merged into the official version.
Another option is that I can become the maintainer and add additional people you approve of (including you) as collaborators so that if one of us gets too busy, some of the others can help keep things moving.
Please advise.
