  • Android devices (versions 4.4 to 12.0)

Description

Android doesn't have backwards compatibility for new emojis built-in until 12.0.

Otherwise, you have to use EmojiCompat. It would be nice to have this available as a capacitor plugin.

If I have time, I may work on this myself.
