Is this way working? If so I assume its the correct way :D. If its working perhaps all we need is a test and were good to go

This does not seem very beginner friendly. Source, I'm in a room with beginners and its not entirely straightforward for them. Still a great feature, I'll remove the label

Sidenote: I independently ran into this same issue, and agree that a whole refactoring is a major challenge. Perhaps if there is a way to alleviate this issue without refactoring...

@SGongS, thanks for all the information. Can you share a minimal reproducible notebook? I'm not an expert in regression so I'm not sure I'll be able to answer your question....
