Context

Need for new social icons initially came from this ticket. We currently have Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, GitHub, RSS, and Email, but are lacking TikTok. Also, the current icons are coloured, but we have a need for them to be monochrome. For reference, the new ones were designed as 16 px icons vs. the original that are 24 px.

New icons can be referenced here; image below. First two rows are the same, just one with and one w/o the grid. Third row is how we're using them for the footer, inside of the circle container (altogether 24 px).

Questions

• Just realised we're probably using the social icons outside of dark theme, so they'll require a container either way
