Incorrect UA branding on FIPS page
Hello, the UA branding has been replaced with Pro branding. The old UA Client is referenced on https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/using-the-ua-client-to-enable-fips#1-overview which appears to be a thin veneer in front of https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/using-the-ua-client-to-enable-fips/22847 -- but I can't change the title on that discourse post. (At least, I assume that's where the wrong text is coming from.)
Thanks
@setharnold this has been updated now, can we close?
@jpmartinspt awesome, thanks! Though I wish I'd taken a quick look around the website a bit first:
- the url still references
ua-client(which is probably good, nobody likes dead links) but I couldn't easily build a brand-appropriate link by blindly changinguatopro: currently a 404, and it probably should work: https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/using-the-pro-client-to-enable-fips#1-overview ua clientis still used in many tutorials: https://ubuntu.com/tutorials?q=ua+client shows "8 search results". Maybe some uses of the phrase in our tutorials is still fine, but some useUA clientin the title:- https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/audit-ua-client-fips-configurations-at-scale-with-landscape
- https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/enable-esm-configurations-at-scale-with-ua-client-and-landscape
- https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/using-the-ua-client-to-enable-the-cis-benchmarking-tool
So, I'm not sure about closing this issue -- the one I found a few weeks ago has indeed been fixed (thanks!) but our tutorials still have inconsistent branding.
Thanks
@setharnold I changed a URL and added a redirect for the originally reported tutorial. @lechsandecki can we get the remaining authors/teams to update the content of the remaining tutorials?
I've pinged the marketing team and tagged some of the authors here
