Restore labels for “Weekly active devices” graph
The labels for each area of the “Weekly active devices” graph were removed in #322, because the library used did not provide enough information about each area to allow calculation of a good label position.
@Lukewh said that he would rewrite the chart in D3 so as to reintroduce the labels.
It may save time to fix all or part of #290 at the same time as this.
This hasn’t been done yet: the only way to tell which colour refers to which version is which is to hover over the chart (or tap it on a touchscreen). There will always be some areas that are too small to contain labels, but in many cases it would remove the need for hovering/tapping.
Besides being annoying, the lack of labels exacerbates the accessibility issue of not being able to see the segment numbers at all without a pointing device (#1550).
