[SearchAndFilter] Unclear how to enter custom search values

What's the issue

When you have enough filters selected, the input to enter custom values will disappear and the extra filters you've selected will be hidden. Clicking the white space doesn't expand the input to show the custom input or the extra pills. You have to know to click the +2.

What did you expect

Clicking a pill or in any of the white space that triggers the drop down to also expand the input to show the full list of selected filters and the custom input box.

This is a high effort (high impact) issue that requires design changes to a component. We will consider it for new architecture version.
