Cant uninstall Multipass on Windows 10. Stuck in start of uninstall

Same here. Not using multipass VMs but now it is using 10 GB mem of my laptop. Need help!

Hi @kangarooo!

I suspect the multipass service is failing to stop which is blocking the uninstaller. You can try killing the process from the task manager and seeing if that helps (multipassd.exe).

Also, if you would be able to upload your logs (see accessing logs) we might be able to determine if the service is being blocked by some operation.

I ran into the same issue in Windows 11. Ending the multipassd.exe task allowed the uninstall to complete for me.
